Yes! The Selenium & Appium projects, as well as the SeleniumConf & AppiumConf organizers, want everyone to attend the conference. Still, we know that not everyone’s personal or financial circumstances make this possible. As part of our scholarship program, we’re setting aside a minimum of three complimentary tickets and covering travel and lodging expenses for selected applicants.
Initially inspired by RubyConf, we also offer to pair our scholars with a guide if they’d like one. A guide is an experienced community member who will be a friendly face at the conference, helping you get the most out of your conference experience and introducing you to others at the event.
The program aims to support individuals from underrepresented groups in tech and those facing economic or social hardship in accessing brilliant content and networking opportunities. If you’re an aspiring software professional looking to utilize a browser or mobile automation tool, or a current professional without access to the funds to purchase one, you should apply. We will award tickets to individuals who can demonstrate that the knowledge gained will be beneficial to their ongoing careers.
Scholarship applications will be accepted between now and January 16, 2026. Apply here.
